Exactly four and a half months after Russell Martin's initial media briefing as the club's manager, successor Danny Rohl faced reporters at Rangers' stadium for the first time.

The scale of the task ahead of him is widely recognized, considering his predecessor's chaotic and unsuccessful four-month tenure.

The ex- Wednesday manager was accompanied by chairman Andrew Cavenagh, along with the much-criticized duo of sporting director Thelwell and chief executive Patrick Stewart.

However, what exactly was revealed from the 36-year-old coach's maiden media outing as the club's manager?

The Manager's Main Priority - Winning is Everything

A single message came through loud and clear from Rohl's first appearance in front of the local press - he understands the need to secure victories, and do so quickly.

The previous manager Martin lasted only 17 matches and four months in charge, so the inquiry emerged about what timeframe the new man believes is reasonable to transform the struggling squad.

While skillfully sidestepping a specific response that might create future pressure, the coach's communication was very evident.

"Hopefully as soon as possible," he said. "That is crucial.
"In football you have limited time. You can discuss future plans but it's understood it's about immediate results and that period is about winning games. That is what I demand.
"One thing is also obvious - I require every squad member to comprehend how we want to perform. I come back to my main theme: victory comes first, it's attractive and unity. By following this sequence, I believe that I will remain for years at the club."

Expectations are Standard

The previous manager needed security protection to exit the stadium after his final match as manager.

We've witnessed how toxic environments can turn at football clubs when results decline. Demonstrations have almost become a regular part of game day experience on each part of the city these days.

As Rangers' youngest ever head coach, the inquiry asked about which attributes Rohl believes he possesses that would enable him to cope, let alone excel, in one of the highest-pressure positions in British football?

"In my opinion expectations in this business are standard," he stated. "One needs to understand that very quickly.
"I believe certain individuals could reference my youth but I'm 16 years in this career. I experienced an excellent chance to be at the German club and serve as just the assistant coach, but I experienced the reality to be a head coach and the pressure involved.
"When you start winning games and then certain people will say you need to produce entertaining football. That's the next stage but precisely what I want. I enjoy that challenge and I'm excited about what's ahead."

The Sporting Director Explains Striker Acquisition & Hiring Family Member

Kevin Thelwell media conference

There were numerous questions from the media directed at Thelwell.

Significant attention has concerned the appointment of Robbie Thelwell as head of recruitment, with supporters skeptical about his qualifications for the position.

Nevertheless, he defended and explained the decision to bring his son to Ibrox.

"It remains uncomfortable to hear and in appearance I think we all agreed when we made this step to appoint him that he would be viewed negatively," Thelwell said.
"The reality of the situation is that we want to bring the very best players to this club.
"My perspective on his professional path and background is he required no family help in football.
"He's worked at Villa as head scout, he then joined Norwich as head of scouting and then got promoted to development role.
"Prior to our recruited him, two Premier League clubs wanted to acquire him. What we did from the beginning of the process was consult with Patrick, the chairman and deputy chairman Marathe about this situation.
"I was extremely open and I think Robbie probably underwent a stricter procedure than any other who's employed by the team.
"What I do know is that he'll labor 25/8 to achieve success for Rangers and I anticipate seeing him demonstrating that he'll become a valuable employee for Rangers."

Thelwell also defended the acquisition of striker Youssef Chermiti, who joined the club for an alleged first payment of eight million pounds, after failing to score in 24 appearances for Everton.

It was Thelwell who brought the Portuguese youth international to Liverpool from Sporting Lisbon - once more for large funds in a fifteen million pound deal.

He was asked if he stands by his multi-million pound purchase, who is yet to score in seven outings for the club.

"Yes, completely," Thelwell answered. "I believe Youssef Chermiti is a player who's possesses huge potential.
"I haven't doubted him in any way. Again, I think Danny will help to maximize the potential out of the player.
"These are initial stages for him, he's a young talent and of course with young talents they occasionally take time.
"But I'm certain throughout of his career here he'll demonstrate that he is very, very good footballer."

The CEO Understands Supporters' Frustration and Hurt

Stewart was also in the media scrutiny, considering the criticism that has been directed at him by some club own supporters.

There was even a banner in the Sandy Jardine stand during the last draw with United inviting Stewart - and the sporting director - to pack his bags before being removed for him.

Similar to the football director, Stewart didn't avoid the issue.

"I completely understand the frustration and hurt that the supporters are experiencing because results recently haven't met good enough and nobody's happy with them," he said.
"The pain and disappointment they feel is matched within the boardroom.
"Recognize that there must exist a channel for those frustrations and in my role, I'm responsible.
"I serve as focal point for those and my responsibility as a
