I will overwhelm 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.

Ex twice world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
